In the heart of the city of Bruges, you can find De Halve Maan Brewery, home of Brugse Zot, Straffe Hendrik and Blanche de Bruges. Visiting the brewery is stepping into the past, learning about Belgian beer and an unforgettable start to your visit to Bruges.
The tour begins in the current brewing hall where “the noble liquid” is brewed. The tour continues over the many floors full of brewing installations that have been used over the pas centuries by this brewing family, which is already in its sixth generation. Once upstairs, you have a unique 360° view of the beautiful city of Bruges. When you hit a few kettles and barrels further down again, you will be rewarded with an unfiltered Brugse Zot Blond, Brugse Zot Dubbel or Straffe Hendrik Tripel.
